Affordable Broadband Support for Families - Message from Department of Work and Pensions 

You may or may not have been aware of the BT Basic deal, a Broadband deal for those on benefits which has been around before:

The DWP has now engaged with two mobile companies nationally to obtain packages of support at a reduced cost for those in need.

From DWP perspective this helps to ensure jobseekers have the mobile data necessary to look for work/attend online meetings etc and provide additional flexible support.

The mobile provider VOXI (Vodafone) have released a package for Jobseekers which allows them Unlimited Minutes, Unlimited Messages and Unlimited 5G Data for £10 per month. No credit check is required, no contract to sign and will give clients in receipt of benefit this deal for 6 months. Clients just need to upload evidence that they are receiving Universal Credit, ESA or Income support Income benefits. The deal is available until 31 January 2021 and can be sought directly through their website
